Bamboo

I have been curious to try soaping with a Bamboo Fragrance.  I have heard some pretty good reviews in some of the soap forums.  I was lucky to have picked up a few ounces during my last shopping spree.

Soapers are usually soaping a Season ahead, and while we are most definitely still in the middle of Summer I have started to look at other fragrances to use.  Now this choice may certainly have me skip Fall and Winter for sure.  It's a nice, fresh, "green" scent.  To me it screams, "masculine, green, fresh" =)
Here is the vendors description:
fresh lime, mint, and ozone; balanced with middle notes of French lavender, and well-rounded with a nice base note of white musk.

Maybe I can finally please my hubby with a male scent instead of all the florals and fruity scents that I have been buried in lately!

I also wanted to try my hand at the Tiger Stripe technique again.  This time using three colors instead of the usual two.  I decided to leave the light shade the natural soap color and used two different kind of greens.  I really like how it turned out.  The fragrance behaved well enough that it allowed me to play with my stripes :)

I really like the play of the two different greens.

Thanks for checking out my blog!

Happy Soaping!!!

  1. That's beautiful Roxana! Your tiger stripes are amazing. It is difficult to find scents that men will enjoy as much as we do, but your bamboo scent sounds ideal.

    1. Thanks for the heads up! I just noticed a couple others that were also buried there as well. I wonder why it has started to do that!
