Soap Stamp

Recently I have been admiring some very cool stamped soap.  There are some very simple stamp designs that just make a bar of soap take on a different unique look.  So I started doing a little bit of research and some searches in the Intranet.  There are some tutorials out there to make your own, but I figured I can try that down the road.  I checked out a couple of websites and decided to try Bebe's Collection.  Here is the link to their website:

They have some pretty cute stamps and the prices are a little more reasonable than what I have found in some other sites.  I was a little hesitant since they are not in the USA but actually are located in Taiwan.  I wondered how long I would have to wait for my stamp!

So I gave it a try and ordered two stamps.  One a standard design that they carry and a the other a custom stamp with the name of my soap logo.  I must admit that most of the delay was due to my fault.  I missed the email that they sent me to confirm if I was OK with the custom layout.  Oops.  So when I contacted them to find out the status I quickly got a reply letting me know that they were waiting for me :(.

As soon as I approved the layout, they got to work on creating and they shipped right away.  I got it within a week and a half or so.  I thought it was pretty fast, especially since it was coming regular mail.  I did have to send my husband to go pick it up at the post office since they require pick up.  I was actually OK with that and was glad of the extra security.

I used it to imprint a fresh batch of soap bars that I had made with Tobacco Caramel fragrance oil.  A nice masculine scent.

I really like my stamps and plan to order more in the future.

Thanks for checking out my blog!  Happy soaping! :)
